Senior Living Wellness Programs | StoneRidge
Staying Active Is Part of the Plan
At StoneRidge, staying active and engaged is simply part of the culture. Residents lead the way, pursuing interests that range from homebrewing and painting to pollinator gardens and woodworking. Our role is to support whatever brings people joy, and to build a community where well-being is woven into everyday life.
A Whole-Person Approach
Healthy aging runs deeper than any single habit or routine. At StoneRidge, our wellness programs are built around all eight dimensions of wellness. It’s a whole-person framework that honors how deeply interconnected our physical, social, emotional, and intellectual lives really are.
- Physical – Heated indoor saltwater pool, fitness classes, walking programs, pickleball, bocce ball, and balance training
- Social – Dozens of resident-led clubs, happy hour at the pub, events, and outings and excursions
- Emotional – A warm, close-knit community, counseling resources, and a team that knows your name
- Intellectual – Language classes, discussion groups, memoir writing, Poetry in the Pub, and cultural programs
- Vocational – Volunteer opportunities, resident committee leadership, and sharing your expertise with others
- Spiritual – Ecumenical services, meditation classes, and quiet spaces for personal reflection
- Environmental – Coastal forest setting, paved walking and biking paths, community gardens, and dog park
- Nutritional – Made-from-scratch kitchen, Executive Chef, and multiple dining venues committed to fresh, regional ingredients
“A current resident stopped by the fitness studio one day and said it was time to prioritize his health. Armed with resolve and a desire for change, he stepped onto the treadmill and he hasn’t looked back.”
—Julie Oliver, Certified Fitness Specialist
